Am I the only one experiencing random crashes when connecting to the CPMA server? I have to reboot the painful way every so often that I don't connect anymore...

isnt it enough to disable it on the client-side?
it is.

As a rather active promode player it's rather annoying always to type /stoprecord when a match starts. Certainly I can bind that shit for my lazyness but finally I don't need plenty of fragments of cut demos (the more matches I play). So that was my question how to disable it in OA bcuz playing CPMA within Q3A doesn't cause any autorecord with same cfg (!) no influence by autorecord 0 :/

add this to your cfg:

seta ch_recordMessage "0"

Yep, LG sound is way too loud when shooting at walls :)
And I am pretty sure that by "40 % lg dmg" you actually mean 40% LG accuracy. Anyway, in real duel 40% is hardly possible - one need to spam alot, and thats not good for percentage.
Oh, and why do you think fixed sound has anything to do with aim?

Nothing...being only a bit sarcastic cuz ArQon's work isn't appreciated by many players :]

Sry ch_recordMessage "0" only disable the recordMessage but not the record at all ;P

Dunno why it's bothering you. It's not like there is some sort of decrease in performance or anything. You can always try seta cg_autoAction "0" though. There is plenty of info btw, try reading docs before asking questions. You may find some cool stuff in there.

Another CPMA server is nice but running it as a pure server makes me not able to use the pm models anymore (brightskins)... :/

I got no problems. Can't join using Q3 though :(

Try cg_enemyModel "sarge/pm". That's how I "fixed' it.

Dude the point is: I usually do prefer pm models in CPMA but the 2nd CPMA server doesn't allow it => game crash. That's why u are not able to join the server with @ Q3A. It's a pure OA Server. Finally I always hav to change cg_enemymodel when switching the different promode servers.

lol, I lived to see sXe telling whats "wrong" with my q3... You thought I was asking for advice or something? gtfo ragequit kiddie :pft:

I have no problems using PM skins on ANY server, including #2 CPMA (vq3). Dunno what have you done and I don't really care. Make a bind then, so you won't have to type cg_enemyModel [your fav] every time.

He is stupid therefore annoying. Plus ragequit all the time. You know, everything is fine until he starts losing "desperately". Thats the point when he "gotta go" + \quit haha and moves to another server :) funny

Now that's somewhat original. Most people of your type excuse with their moms... I am not aware of that problem. And I doubt it has anything to do with your constant ragequit :D
