Very early stage and just to try and visualise what I had in mind for it. It should be an identification for the game, a trademark that will allow recognition.

ANGELS & DEMONS (alternative Angels & Daemons)
[edited spelling error] :mph:

Some sort of demon horn, or devils horn rising upwards and on the outer edges of the horns (that look like the top of the Q in Quake 1, there should be angel wings attached in 4 or more sections thus forming a unified symbol for Angels and Demons in one. The A&D can be placed inside of the logo i.e symbolizing good to evil. A&D could be read from up to down and entwined together, like a grapewine look.

Best solution would be to use as few colours as possible, preferably three, or even less. Use of vector or even a 3D render could be made. The wings shouldn't be to 'cluttered' as they are in my test [edit: removed] nor should they be as pure white since the logo would fit nicely on white background.

something like this? sorry it's so rough, i really need to get a wacom pad or something, i really can't sketch with a mouse.

i didn't understand the "A&D could be read from up to down and entwined together, like a grapewine look." bit though.

That is basically the look I wanted to try against, something that would blend the two together. I'm not sure myself about the 'entwined grapewine' thing though :) I think I was trying to visualise the letters being nested together with the A on top, the & merging with both A and the bottom D. In short, no idea =)

I did some other weird mix of it with a random pair of wings I found on the Internet. The hellboy character is what gave me inspiration for the horns. I'm not a 2d artist either :(

It's an obvious typo, even though it occurred more than once. He meant to use "Angels" not "Angles"

In response to the horned wings logo W1ZrD, that is kickass. I would so love to see that vectorized the way it currently is. I think it is perfect for the theme you guys are aiming for.

Could have been an interesting concept to build upon.

I agree, the logo looks fine. Good fusion, plain and simple.
