yes Joki i have checked it.
All of your tipps.

Again the same problem. Freestyle works fine, cpm or q3 it say bad command byte.

Try ensuring that light entities do not have the attribute "style". (Using entity-lights alone looks awkward anyway. :/)

Btw in another forum i just read that the cl_parsegamestate: bad command error could also be caused by too many non-Light-entities. Or you are using huge areas covered with a light-texture, in that case you would have to use entity-light instead. :( (texture light looks better)

If everything else fails, trying compile only a part of the map. If that works, try another part, until you find the one that causes the problem. Once again, if its a problem of too many non-light-entities, every single area for itself could be compiled but not the whole map. :i

I´ve found the problem.
4 Hours searching for and i think i found it.

First i was trying to run it. "Doesn´t work"

second, i have a lot of trys behind me "doesn´t work"

third, i was short before to kick my pc out of my window but in this moment i have found the error. It´s the damned "target_speaker".

To many entities i think and target_speaker is an entite, so i have removed many of them and it works.

Stupid gtkradiant^^

Yep Guys, i have tried it again and it´s really the point with the target_speakers.

If anyone of you got the same Problem you know what to do.

Problem: I can create a bsp with the Radiant but it doesn´t run in cpm or q3 mode. It only runs in Freestyle. I don´t become a errormessage from the GTKRadiant, what´s the Problem?

Solution: Watch for the target_speakers how many do you have drop in your map. If you have really many of them, delete all and drop they step for step.
Maybe you have to many Lights in your map and this is the next point where you have to remove some lights.

Compile your map in a "test" and run it in cpm, and you´ll see it works fine.

Details, Sounds (again :-/), Cameras, Screens, Unused Rooms(on Picture),
the structures(on Picture) and many more^^
Then i have to compile in Final Edition...that will need a long long.......long...........fu*k off....long :grin: Time!!!

Here is the first result of the time in this map.
I hope you know im not a bad defragger ;)
It was a testrun but i think the best time in this map can´t be under 5 Minutes. For this, it´s to long.

that rocket-rooms looks like a cheap-skate version of a goldeneye64-map. were you have to take photos of the spionage-satellites and bomb stuff afterwards, if you remember that.

Nope, sry i can´t remember^^

Maybe i have to say many places in *THd*Horror are real.
Mate this project was 2 years in work with the ideas.
There are many places where i was staying.


The material places are:

The 2 small resounding at the start
The dark resounds with the large gate (protection of the ears)
The storage hall with the shelves
The offices + corridors (with the computers)
The ventilation shaft after the offices (also that is genuine;)|)
The area where the rocket stands (naturally makes smaller in the Game)
The underground courses where the branching is (concrete walls)
The last area with the screens (a compartment of a PC company)

You´ll find more informations about in the readme ;)

The start at this map (project) was the 8.2.2010
The End of it : TODAY

Start to compiletime: 11:25
End of compiletime : 19:15

Well, thats quiet a big map you made in a relatively short period of time. I just gave it a try.

Some spots are a bit confusing, and i dont know which direction to take. One time i ended up in eternal darkness, another time the walls were fullbright. And since you dont use target_give to take off my RocketLauncher i got early, i can just "overcome" the strafing areas by rjumping. ;)

Here are a few impressions:



















Is this the end of the map? Cause i didnt really feel like starting all over again, after i got squished. :D Its quiet a huge map, it seems.

That lightning-decompressing-chamber-thing with the yellow flashing lights on the floor looks nice. :grin:

hhah lool. you have problems xD
picture 1 you cant use rl to get faster up
picture 2 set your brightness to half
picture 3 go to left corner with the red lights and go up with plasm :D
or use sm to get B on a light ( i wont say which :P)
picture 4 ....take one rl to get 3 cells for the rl
picture 5 . juts do a cj and straf :O that aare maybe grren pads in tr1ckhouse^^
picture 6....go out of the window and in the other with plasm you get there xD

for me.... i love this map...its not like a defrag run but a lot of fun
nice wooork :D

Well, it´s really a huge map.
Surely you can´t find the correct way to begin.
Listen to stalker, that was he sayed, i would say too =)

You can only take 2 ways, Stalker is right, its not perfectly like a Defragrun, but good for defragging too and think about, it was a projekt ;)

Ah before i forget, your brightnessproblem mate =)
