since i play TDM alot the issue for me is that the models are identical.
Aparrently this is a feature but what is the point in the cvar cg_forcemodel when you can only force model as your own. I'm not too bothered with bright models, but as long as I can see them clear enough. The default skins are awful using lightmap with detail. For the first time in a long time I now have to use minimal graphics on vertex.. only because there simply is no choice.
On maps like osago its not really an issue because it's mostly open space.. but with maps where you can only hear people round corners then you have to react to sound. Hence the reason why the sound of the enemy model is different from your own, well that was my understanding. That's why I find the logic of this 'feature' difficult to understand with the same team models. Then again, I don't play much baseoa, and if i do it's only cos I'm bored.
