Edit q3.game (the folder name), rename it to oa.game or duplicate and rename.

Possible problems

If GtkRadiant loads maps, but there is no Texture/Shaders window displayed, check the /baseoa directory in OpenArena folder. It is possible that GtkRadian created subdirectory in baseoa, so it looks like /openarena/baseoa/baseoa. If this is the case, change basegame="baseoa" into:

You can delete last baseoa directory in /baseoa/baseoa.

Running a map

To avoid the "not found" error when trying to load your map from the console, go in the q3config.cfg file (it's in your windows user account, application data folder) and add seta sv_pure "0"

Don't forget that your map must be in a /baseoa/maps/ folder and it is not needed to pack it to a .pk3 if you use the above sv_pure 0, then you can run them from .bsp.
