There is a whole list of BBCode items you can use here but there are also some custom implementations to the code to improve the overall quality of the forums. If you want to embed a YouTube video directly in your post, then simply write:
Code::
[youtube]SKaSV_rozVA[/youtube]
To clarify this a little, the entire URL for this example video is:
Code::
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKaSV_rozVA
What you do is simply to remove the
Code::
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
and keep the:
Code::
SKaSV_rozVA
Now you see this:

The same concept works for videos posted on Revver and it is written in the same way. You simply enter:
Code::
[revver]316027[/revver]
This is the videos ID number and the entire link looks like this:
Code::
http://one.revver.com/watch/316027
So what we did was to remove:
Code::
http://one.revver.com/watch/
and use the specific ID number for our video:
Code::
316027

Couldn't be much easier than that, could it?
Just remember to follow the forum rules and only post 1 (one) embedded video per post, otherwise it will be deleted.

UPDATE:
Now the BBCode has been improved further by JockeTF and that means that you now can add videos from both Metacafe and Google Videos.

For Metacafé videos you type:
Code::
[metacafe]774922/great_shadow_puppetry[/metacafe]
and this is the URL in it's complete state:
Code::
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/774922/great_shadow_puppetry/
All you need is the ID number and the title:
Code::
774922/great_shadow_puppetry
This is how it will look like:

For the Google Videos it's the exact same procedure, but even easier.
You use the BBCode like this:
Code::
[googlevideo]7001018121757695865[/googlevideo]
and this would be the link in it's complete form:
Code::
http://video.google.com/url?docid=7001018121757695865
So you simply use the numbers that generates the doc.id:
Code::
7001018121757695865
