One of the significant changes is about railshot damage , now based on distance range :
100 health/shot within 384 units
90 health/shot within 768 units
80 health/shot beyond 768 units
mmm ... quakelive has the lg damage based on range : 7 hp for low , 6 hp for mid , 5 hp for high range and railshot damage fixed to 80 hp.
Uh ? Was lg damage always 10 hp per shot also in prev CPMA versions ?
