I think it works like bots set on nightmare. They shoot and dont miss the moment youre in the line of fire.

I think it works much better than that. Bots at nightmare miss some shoots. I saw an aim-bot in action and it's, well, impressive. BRX was playing with one well back during the Rainbow tournament days and he showed it to me. Actually, we wanted to take the piss out of Insomn1a with it but he didn't play for you guys had a match. That would've be funny.

Basically you don't miss a shot no matter what. To convince me that he actually had an aim bot, BRX asked me to spectate him while he was doing random movements with the mouse. As soon as he pressed fire with the machine gun the crossfire would very quickly get centered at the opponent and hit him. Very characteristic I would say. But I haven't watched this demo yet.

i saw what you described, but could just have been luck, and its not clearly in this demo. i can imagine the aimbot to be highly configurable, to make it look more human.

i dont want to accuse those players, but they both really standed out in the crowd. ;)

doesnt look like aimbot to me, or it has been used really carefully.
but imo he is missing to many easy railshots.

only met a aimbot user once in the early rn days on aggressor, but he was a total newb. just a few rockets to take him out of the game :D

Hmm. Sometimes i use this move to hit somebody aproaching me and slightly moving at an angle that wont cross my path. Its quite sudden (i cant do that anymore with my new mouse :( ) and what it does is that it somehow enables me to shoot the frakker even though i wouldnt be able to track his movement. Some ppl on corkscrew thought its wasent normal and kept specting me. Could be a movement quite simmilar to an aimbot.

Not sure why i cant do it anymore with the new mouse even though im sure i adjusted the sensitivity to 95% of the former mouse. It must have something to do with a bit of accel or something. Hmm.. dunno.. ill re-try to download the demo, couldnt before.

I played against Azrael from Bioxar Clan for fun on their Server (They were palced in Q3 League, Rocket Arena Team, Place 1 at that time, so you would think they would never cheat!). Something seemed suspicious to me, when he used Shaft, which was 55%+ percent. (In Osp you can use /stats #playerID to see a players stats. 35% over a long time Shaft is good, over 50% is inhuman. I sent it to Q3liga admins and got a year of premium service shit for free lol)

Whenever his shaft gets away too far from the enemy, it will be auto-centered on the center of the enemy.

55++% shaft??? :X (Those required Quake 3 and OSP Mod :()

Watch these moments (use cg_drawtimer 1 to see the timer) with /cg_fov 50 and /timescale 0.25. Otherwise its pretty hard to spot.

1st demo:
1st Round: 0:07

2nd demo:
2nd Round: 0:02
3rd Round: 0:14
4th Round: 0:12!
...

3rd Demo:
1st Round: 0:29
2nd Round: 0:45!! - Again: Clearly to see, how suddenly his crosshair-direction did a 180°-turn...
